Qualitative Discovery

The Discover phase has two parts. First a qualitative part, then a quantitative. Now you will dive deeply into the qualitative first part, i.e. how to conduct qualitative Jobs-to-be-done customer interviews.

Key purpose of this phase is to test the Jobs-to-be-done hierarchy hypothesis you built in Frame and extract Job Metrics in the interviews.

Job Metrics are customer Metrics that they apply to evaluate how well they can get the Job done.

Job Metrics are what makes Jobs-to-be-done so powerful and measurable.
